The Social Statement: Homelessness

Homelessness and the lack of affordability in the housing market are growing problems in today’s society. We are tackling this issue by providing emergency shelter for the homeless through the use of mixed-use typologies that convert office space to residential based on housing demand. The provision of affordable housing will be made possible by using surplus energy from renewable energy generation systems to lower housing costs for low-income families. By working with the Manchester City Council and Far East Consortium we aim to make housing more affordable and equitable for all.
